One of our first and classic Earth Painting designs, our Block design, has been adapted and transformed to match Bhutan’s societal, spiritual and natural values. Careful matching of the markings, knots and burrs of our reclaimed, aged and weathered oak wood with features of each specific Earth Painting elevates both the raw material and the composition. Through this, the influence of time and space in transformation as well as visualising the impermanent and ever changing nature of reality is highlighted.
