Diana Blok (b. 1952, Montevideo) is a Netherlands-based photographer and visual artist whose work explores gender, identity, memory, and cultural diversity.
A self-taught portraitist and former sociology student, she has lived across Latin America and Europe. Since relocating to Amsterdam in 1974, she has created evocative portrait projects: Invisible Forces, Adventures in Cross‑Casting, See Through Us, I Challenge You to Love Me, that challenge norms around sexuality and identity.
Her interactive installations and photographic projects have been exhibited worldwide and are held in major collections including Stedelijk, Centre Pompidou, and the Museum of Fine Arts Houston. She has also published numerous photo-books and taught at leading art institutions.
