We approach this project with an Urban Wabi narrative, in

an effort to aesthetically integrate the 2 personalities

of the owners.

Finding the balance between the grunge motorcycle paths

and the raw sandy beaches. Bridging dawn and dusk. Where

gentle and strong coexist in the same environment.

Therefore we found 3 key points of approach.
Imperfection: Irregular shapes, finishes and materials with a natural
asymmetric characteristic.

Incomplete: A solid blank canvas as an architectural base, open to
change and insertion of personal style items and decoration.
Creation of opportunities.

Impermanent: This ever changing element creates a continuity of evolution
of personal style.

All the curated art was selected amongst highly regarded local artists.

“Hum offers more than a selection of objects: a relooking in depth. They opt for simple and irregular lines, neutral materials and an elementary palette. A decor dedicated to evolve smoothly.“
Jean-Christophe Camuset, Elle Decor France no.311
