Built in 1933, this monumental villa reflects the architectural style and influence of the
Amsterdamse School, and, alongside the proximity to The Gulden Bodem Natural Park, inspires
this project..

It’s an ode to the historical context and surrounding natural landscape.
Both the interior and exterior elements converse and influence each other, especially in the material selection.

More intimate spaces, like the Zen Room and Master Suite, are suited for introspective activities such as listening to music, while playful areas encourage social engagement.

Diverse types of stone, treatments of wood, and natural wallpapers and textiles provide the extra tactile dimension necessary for
a considerate design.
All four floors are connected by a cohesive materiality and color palette that, in different ratios,
provide varied moods.
“The chemistry of the place emerges in the most surprising details, like layers of time in dialogue with each other.“
